Working alongside SHAPE at RAAF Base Edinburgh, I&R Electrical Solutions delivered the complete electrical and communications package for the new Army Reserve and Cadet facilities. Our scope included new site electrical infrastructure, underground power reticulation, communications services, switchboards, power, lighting, emergency lighting, and a fully customised DALI lighting control system, all seamlessly integrated with the existing Defence electrical network. Operating within a live Defence environment required detailed planning, staged delivery and close coordination to meet strict security and operational requirements while ensuring uninterrupted base operations. The completed installation provides reliable, intelligent and future-ready electrical infrastructure to support the long-term needs of the Defence precinct.
